Heker Robertson

Taefu Heker Robertson is a proud first-generation New Zealander with deep roots in Samoa, bringing a lifetime of dedication and professional excellence to Vision New Zealand. He is a happily married father of two who understands that strong families are the essential building blocks of a healthy nation.
Heker’s foundation is built on academic and professional rigor, having studied Law and Arts at the University of Auckland before embarking on a distinguished 20-year career in central government. As a former Chief Advisor, he gained extensive experience in cross-government collaboration and community partnerships, mastering the art of developing strategic policy. His work has consistently focused on reducing inequalities and promoting the social and economic advancement of Pacific Peoples in New Zealand.
Today, Heker’s focus and passion have shifted toward a mission that sits at the very heart of our movement: facilitating personal transformation in fathers. We believe that by empowering fathers to lead with integrity, we can change the trajectory of the next generation of New Zealanders.
Heker joins our leadership team as a man of action who values biological reality, traditional family structures, and common-sense leadership. He represents the high-caliber, principled leadership that we require to restore integrity to our political system and ensure that New Zealand remains a land of opportunity for all our children.
