HANNAH TAMAKI

Hannah Tamaki is often defined by her public leadership, but she defines herself first by the family she has built. As a mother, grandmother, and now great-grandmother, she believes the nuclear family is the fundamental building block of a healthy nation.
Her commitment to politics is driven not by status or ambition, but by an urgent desire to ensure the New Zealand we leave behind is stronger, safer, and more prosperous than the one we inherited.
Unlike many career politicians who have spent their lives inside the Wellington bubble, Hannah is a visionary leader and accomplished businesswoman who has built major organisations from the ground up without a single cent of taxpayer funding.
She has played a leading role in some of New Zealand’s largest non-profit movements, including nationally recognised community empowerment programmes that have transformed thousands of lives, homes, and communities. She has also overseen the growth of independent educational institutions spanning early childhood through to secondary education.
Her leadership is marked by a quiet but significant philanthropy. Over many years, Hannah and her family have personally invested millions of dollars back into the community; funding legal battles for justice, supporting families through education, and providing direct assistance to struggling businesses and individuals. To Hannah, success is not measured by wealth alone, but by the ability to use it to serve others.
She believes in the aspirational Kiwi dream: the freedom to work hard, succeed, and help lift others along the way. Integrity is the foundation of Vision New Zealand, and Hannah leads by example.
As a long-serving Justice of the Peace, she holds a position of public trust within New Zealand’s legal system. This is a reflection of her straightforward nature and commitment to fairness, accountability, and transparency.
Whether assisting a neighbour with official documents or standing for the highest office in the land, Hannah remains a woman of conviction: courageous, principled, and optimistic about New Zealand’s future.
“Politics is the platform where I can advocate for those Kiwis, like me, who believe we have a responsibility to those who come after us,” Hannah says. “As leaders in our families, communities, and government, we owe it to the next generation to leave them a legacy that is intact; to make decisions that strengthen their future, not undermine it.”
Hannah Tamaki is a neighbour, a patriot, and a leader who represents a return to common sense and strong values in New Zealand politics.
