KAIKOHE: People from 6 churches in Kaikohe - about 75 in total, gathered on Memorial Hill to take part in the GDP. We used the GDP prayer as a framework, having different church leaders lead those gathered in a part of the prayer. Then after the congregation responded with their part of the prayer, we broke into small groups to pray for a particular area i.e. churches in Kaikohe, home and family, etc, for approx 5-10 minutes. We then moved onto the next section of the prayer. Overall it was a worthwhile time, and helped build unity amongst different parts of the body of Christ. WHANGAREI: We will gather again on the 27th May at 2pm in the Kauri lounge of the Okara Park Rugby Stadium in Port Rd, Whangarei. Tira Ora is a Christian community that is able to worship and live by God’s Word openly. We host visitors from all over the world, who want to have a retreat at our 550 acre property, in the Pelorus Sound, Marlborough. We are always open for hospitality, and evangelism, and prayer.
