With so much to concern us in society, it's good to honour any group which seeks to emphasise the goodness that is out there also. In that spirit, we draw your attention to the Human Rights Commission e-zine On the Bright Side.
Recent editions have included stories about a Christian school helping the Mangere Refugee Centre, and Caritas's efforts during Social Justice Week, as well as initiatives from other non-Christian groups in society. God says through the prophet Jeremiah to ‘seek the peace and prosperity of the cities where you live'.
‘Let's join in honouring the efforts of everyone in our society who seeks the best for our country,' says NZ Christian Network National Director Glyn Carpenter.
