World Evangelical Alliance

The World Evangelical Alliance has been directed since 2005 by Geoff Tunnicliffe, a Canadian who also serves as the Evangelical Fellowship of Canada's director of global initiatives. Based in Vancouver, Geoff spends a considerable amount of time travelling, mentoring leaders of Evangelical Alliances, speaking at global conferences, conducting media interviews, meeting with government and faith leaders and interacting with institutions such as the United Nations, G-8 and the World Bank. Building evangelical identity, encouraging collaboration and unity, and building a strong voice for the marginalised, the poor and the persecuted are his priorities.

Jeff Fountain set up the Schuman Centre for European Studies after serving as director for YWAM Europe for 20 years. Jeff studied history at Auckland University but has lived in Holland since 1975 where he married his Dutch wife, Romkje.
